What is Life?

What is Life?
If I do not live;
To the highest expectation
That God seeks in me.

What is Life?
If I cannot love
To the most sacrifices
That I need to give.

What is Life?
If I cannot give
To the need
And help them live

What is Life?
If I cannot be
The man God intended me to be
Made for His glory!

What is Life?
If I cannot see
The wonders of His beauty
Made for all to see

What is Life?
If I cannot trust,
The one who gives salvation
And for Him I live!

Meeting Kong after 16 years!

How young were we 16 years ago.

When I met Kong during the 7th Asian Baptist Congress, there was familiarity in his face that I couldn't miss. I remembered Dr. Apichart too as we were singing his song last January 2007.

Kong: I knew I had met him in Calcutta in the 1991 Asian Baptist Youth Conference. I couldn't miss that because I felt I knew him. So as we talked I asked Kong if he had been in the 1991 ABYF Conference in Calcutta now Kolkota. He said Yes! So, I tell him to wait for a while then bring him a picture of the 1991 Conference.

Memories flash back and we find ourselves talking about the experience and now introducing our family. Both married. He with two teenagers and I with three little boys. I also find that he's been very active and musically very involved in his recording studio.

Nonetheless, we are now set up to partner together in the Lord's Ministry.

What a Blessing!

Hello Everybody,

It's been quite a struggle to keep this blog updated. Then I could not locate the blog. When I finally find the blog, I forget my Username and password. It took a while (2 weeks) to trace back from memory my Username and Password. I am finally BACK!

Well! An awesome experience for me and I know that goes for Go! Ye! Champuru members too.

10 days of ministry in Chiang Mai was not just an eye opener but a challenge to continue reaching out our hands to the needs outside.

The first day: April 28th, we arrive in Bangkok at the wee hours of 1:15 am. We try to steal naps in the International airport before flying to Chiang Mai. After a 6 hours transit an hour flight to Chiang Mai.

We start off our ministry the same day at 1:30 am and head for meeting with Tony Cupit, Director of Baptist World Allinace' Living Water Conference.

4:30 pm we arrive at the Im Jai House, a house for children who either lost their parents from HIV/AIDS or poverty has forced them to leave home. We had a very memorable time of worship and fellowship.

Date 29th April: We worship at the Chiang Mai Japanese Church then get ready for the concert. We had Japanese guest of about 270 people come to the concert. Our concert is labeled "Gospel Concert" from Okinawa.

Date 30th April through May 2nd: Living Water and Development Conference starts off at 2:00 pm. About 300 delegates from 21 countries join the conference. We hear and meet missionaries from all over Asia. We hear how Baptists are involved in Relief and Aids to victims of Tsunami, Earthquakes, campaigning for Social Injustice, reaching out to prostitutes, orphanages etc. God is indeed very much alive among Asian Christians. Thank You Lord!

May 2nd through May 6th:
The 7th Asian Baptist Congress kicks off. Another time of learning and blessing. Go! Ye! Champuru! has been leading worship all through out the Living Water Conference and the Congress is yet another time to be blessed to fulfill our task. With workshops to be led and preparing for worship hasn't been that easy; basically the schedule has been tough. Nevertheless, blessings are plentiful because we hear of so many testimonies from fellow Christians. A significant testimony however, is from a Bhutanese brother who has lived through persecution in Bhutan. A brother who was imprisoned for his faith 6 times. Yet, God's calling is so strong, he cannot abandon his new found faith in Christ; because of the grace he has experienced through the cross.

Asian Baptist Federation will now be known as Asia Pacific Baptist Federation. All over Asia and the Pacific Island countries like Fiji, Paupua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Guam, Micronesia and many more; not forgetting the ever leadership and support from Australia and New Zealand makes APBF stronger.

The Thailand experience has impressed into many of our hearts the need to go out, reach out to non-believers through music and take the task of training other local churches to become more equipped musically. Enhance the musical skills of local church musicians.

Live to Worship Ministries, International which had its humble beginning in 2000, takes the role and task to organize such training by organizing workshops, seminars (Locally Tailored) to meet the needs of local churches.

LTWM International, formerly not labeled, annually organizes Worship Conference in Okinawa
and around Asia. 2007 Worship Conference will be held in Koza Baptist Church from July 7-10. Come if you're around! Nepal Worship Conference is tentatively planned for January 29-February 4th, 2008.

Let us continue to uphold each other as we serve God in our respective field.

Amen.
